Map every opening
We photograph and number primary exits (guano, rub marks, live activity) and secondary gaps bats will move to once mains close. A bat needs only about 3/8" to enter. Desert stucco weeps and northern freeze-thaw gaps both count.
Check for flightless pups
Before warm-season exclusion we look for maternity colonies. If pups cannot fly, we wait—or seal only non-active openings—so young are not stranded indoors.
One-way doors, then permanent seals
Custom one-way devices let bats exit at dusk and block re-entry. After the exclusion period we remove devices and permanently close those last openings with custom inserts and clear products—not spray foam—so finishes stay discreet in coastal and inland sun.
Return visit, report, warranty
We confirm activity has stopped, walk the structure again, deliver before-and-after photos, and issue the two-year written warranty on qualifying whole-structure work.
